Shannon is a transactional lawyer who has dedicated her career to supporting growth companies and guiding them from formation to sustainability, having served both in private practice and as lead in-house counsel, first at Replidyne, a biotech company, and subsequently at RidgeviewTel, a software/telecom provider. As founder of the Life + Tech Law team, she provides “outside in-house” style corporate counsel services to developing technology, e-commerce and life science companies that is cost-efficient.
A core element of her practice is advising scientists and project leads on how to maintain control of their deals via contracts that facilitate day-to-day workflow and retain legally defensible rights to the results. Shannon is an optimistic person who learns your business and works on contracts as they come in the door. She is flexible and accountable as one of your team members and answers tough new legal questions with an eye to what that means to your company’s bottom line.
