Christie’s scientific training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and early-career experience was in molecular genetics and biology with a focus on cancer cytogenetics…and in business. She describes herself as a “devoted research hound” whom Life + Tech Law clients can count on for precise analysis of data and strategic recommendations presented in clear, concise reports. Her areas of expertise include competitive intelligence research, quality control and assurance, marketing communication and patent protection.
Christie is currently working on a Life + Tech Law model for intellectual property valuation that will give emerging technology clients a current picture of what may constitute the majority of their worth. Taking changing market conditions into account, the model utilizes state-of-the-art measurement and modeling techniques to assess the value of specific features, which can be combined to assess the valuation of a wide range of specific assets.
